It is most enjoyable. John is very frank and witty and I am sure it will be most appreciated by racing people.

The theme is, of course, how difficult it is to win a race, and when you do so it is an incredible experience. So much can go wrong with racehorses and John makes the point loud and clear. I loved his racing dictionary and definitions.

It is a lovely book and so well and wittily told.
